Brandon Heath, Gospel Music Association's New Artist of the Year, has seen his digital single “Give Me Your Eyes” rise to No. 1 on Christian music digital charts on iTunes and Amazon.com. With nearly 6,000 downloads, Heath has achieved the highest first-week sales for a Christian track this year, surpassing previous leaders Chris Tomlin's "Jesus Messiah" and Third Day's "Call My Name." On Aug. 19, Heath will release his sophomore album, What If We (Reunion Records/Provident-Integrity Distribution), which features the week's top-downloaded song. "Give Me Your Eyes" has also reached 7.4 million audience impressions at No. 3 on Christian Radio & Retail Weekly's CHR chart, No. 4 on Radio & Records' CHR chart, No. 20 on Radio & Records' Adult Contemporary. |
