Matthew West's (Universal South/EMI Christian Music Group) debut single, “More,” has remained at No. 1 for nine consecutive weeks on R&R's AC Christian chart. He is the only new artist to hold the top AC position that long with a debut single since R&R began reporting its Christian charts in April 2001.

West's new single “The End” releases to radio on Friday.

West received a subtle plug on last Tuesday's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Friend Jim Beavers, playing guitar while displayed prominently behind musical guest Lee Ann Womack, proudly wore his “Happy” T-shirt during the performance.
