Casting Crowns' self-titled, debut release was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) this week, reinforcing its status as Christian music's fastest selling new artist to date for 2003 and 2004.

In addition to the sales milestone, the band's second single, "Who Am I," maintained its No. 1 position on all Christian radio charts for its second week in a row.

Casting Crowns' debut album is the first release for Beach Street Records, an imprint of Reunion Records and Provident Label Group.
