Ardent Records' rock band Jonah33 has been named an official spokesband for Redeem the Vote, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that encourages Christians to register to vote.

Similar to MTV's Rock the Vote campaign that launched in 1990, Redeem the Vote has planned an aggressive national campaign designed to increase voter registration and turnout among the nation's youth.

As part of its involvement as spokesband for Redeem the Vote, Jonah33 was selected to write and record the campaign's theme song, "Silence Never Speaks." Plans are currently underway to make the single available for download on the Redeem the Vote Web site, and for a single to be available at retail outlets in the fall.
