Steven and Mary Beth Chapman recently brought home to Nashville, Tenn., their new adopted child, Maria Sue Chapman. Maria is the Chapmans' third adopted daughter and their sixth child.

Steven bonded with Maria, considered a "special needs" child because of a potential heart condition, while visiting an orphanage and foster homes for special needs children in China.
