Denver & The Mile High Orchestra is slated to perform in Athens, Greece, during the 2004 Summer Olympic Games. In conjunction with the Flame/More Than Gold Olympic outreach program, the band will headline several performances in Athens, including a concert at a downtown plaza on Aug. 14, the day following the opening ceremonies of the summer games.

The nonprofit organization Flame was created by a group of Christians in Greece, with the goal of serving the spiritual needs of the athletes and visitors who will be in Athens for the Olympic Games.
