Grizzly Adams Productions recently acquired the TV/DVD rights to two best-selling books exploring the lives and teachings of the 12 apostles. The books Twelve Ordinary Men by John MacArthur (W Publishing Group) and The Search for the Twelve Apostles by William Steuart McBirnie (Living Books/Tyndale House) will be featured in a documentary to appear on “i” Independent Television network, formerly PAX TV.

“Our documentary on the twelve apostles picks up where The Passion of The Christ leaves off,” said David W. Balsiger, Grizzly Adams Productions' vice president and producer of the upcoming documentary. “Following the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, the incredible adventure of the twelve apostles really begins. … We're going to tell the extraordinary journey of these 12 men who changed the course of human history forever.”

The broadcast version of the show will release during 2005 while the DVD will be a 2006 Easter release.

The company's recent TV/DVD releases include Breaking the Da Vinci Code and George W. Bush: Faith in the White House.
