The Safe Side company, launched last year by Julie Clark (founder of The Baby Einstein Company) and John Walsh (host of America's Most Wanted), has entered into a long-term distribution agreement with children's entertainment entity Sony Wonder. Through their relationship, Sony Wonder and The Safe Side aim “to educate and empower children, while entertaining them about personal safety,” The Safe Side said in a statement. On Oct. 10 Sony Wonder will release The Safe Side's new Internet Safety DVD, as well as re-releasing Stranger Safety, The Safe Side's Emmy Award-winning DVD, which was named Parenting Magazine's Video of the Year. The companion music CD release, Cool Tunes: Songs to Keep Cool Kids on the Safe Side, will also be re-released. |
