Soul Cravings (Thomas Nelson), the latest book by best-selling author and pastor Erwin Raphael McManus, is the inspiration for Crave, a three-DVD box set, which will be released June 5. Created by Awaken Films and Indelible Creative Group, the short film series focuses on a soul craving identified in McManus' book: meaning, destiny and intimacy. “Pop Star,” the first film in the series, tells the story of a British pop artist who lands in the emergency room after his hair catches fire onstage. “Midnight Clear” portrays an unsuspecting family who becomes refuge for an escaped convict. “Nameless Moment” is about a young man who views life as a series of random meaningless events until he meets a confidant who changes his perspective on life forever.
Included on the DVDs are teachings from McManus, with the intent to communicate spiritual truth in a relevant and entertaining way, Indelible Creative Group officials said. Word Distribution will distribute Crave
