Based on the best-selling novel by Robert Whitlow that was published by Thomas Nelson Publishers in 2000, The List is scheduled for release on DVD June 10 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and is being distributed to Christian retail by Word Distribution. Rated PG for thematic elements, The List follows the journey of Renny Jacobson as his father's last will and testament leads him to uncover the mysterious secrets behind a clandestine society in his native hometown of Charlotte. The movie stars Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Heroes), Chuck Carrington (JAG), Hilarie Burton (One Tree Hill), Will Patton (Remember the Titans, Armageddon), Pat Hingle (Gunsmoke, Batman) and Tim Ware (Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius, Monster). The List was released last August in several Southern states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia. The DVD comes in a widescreen format, featuring deleted scenes, commentary by writer/director/producer Gary Wheeler and a featurette. |
