Bent Pyramid Productions will release a special DVD exclusively through Christian retail, featuring the documentary Jesus: The Lost Years, on Aug. 25.

The film, created by award-winning filmmaker Norman Miles and Paul Perry, a New York Times best-selling author and the documentary's on-camera personality, follows the trail taken by Jesus, Mary and Joseph as they fled from King Herod.

In May, 200,000 DVDs were sold in Egypt through a distribution deal between the producers and National Egyptian Heritage Revival Association. Additionally, under a multiple-year agreement, Jesus: The Lost Years will air on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.

"This extraordinary film shows sites and tells stories about Jesus which are virtually unknown outside of Egypt," said Miles, executive producer. "We are happy to partner with CNI (Christian Network International) to make this available to Christians who are interested in learning more about Jesus as a young man."
