Best known for playing the lead character in the Christian TV sitcom, Pastor Gregg, Greg Robbins is the director of what has been described as "America's first Christian country bluegrass musical movie."

Releasing Sept. 2 from Dog N' Doggie Productions and Uplifting Entertainment, Stuck in the Past is an It's a Wonderful Life-style movie that follows successful but lonely Broadway actress Rebecca Roles, who on her retirement is transported back in time to her teenage years and to her Appalachian roots. Through her encounters, she rediscovers the values she grew up with and the importance of family.

Cast members include best-selling Christian country artist Margo Smith as Rebecca, and Eddie Mekka, from Laverne & Shirley. The film premiered at the International Family Film Festival in California earlier this year, and is due to be screened in church presentations in the fall.

There will be a simultaneous release of the soundtrack CD, Stuck in the Past Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, from Lamon Records.
