Suppliers nominating products for Christian Retailing's popular Retailers Choice Awards are being offered an early-bird discount for this year's competition.

For every five product entries submitted by Jan. 31, nominating companies can put forward a sixth item completely free.

Three new categories have been added to the 2008 Retailers Choice Awards, in which retailers get to name the most significant new Christian resources of last year. Prizes will be given for the best new Vacation Bible School, Catholic/Liturgical and Church Supplies products released in 2007, in addition to almost 30 other categories of books, music, gifts and other products.

Winners will be announced at the International Christian Retail Show in Orlando, Fla., this summer.

Nominations are being accepted through Feb. 29. Details of the early-bird special and this year's nominations form can be found at www.retailerschoiceawards.com.
