Peggy Knudson, co-owner of The Word Shoppe in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, took home an 8-foot Christmas tree as part of a giveaway Wednesday at the Provident-Integrity Distribution booth. In support of the BOZ, The Green Bear Next Door preschool property, the giveaway included the latest BOZ CDs, book and DVDs.

Since the green bear's home-entertainment debut in spring 2006, BOZ quickly rose to become one of the top three brands in its category at Christian retail and online. In just over a year, Exclaim Entertainment has released five BOZ DVDs, seven books, two plush toys and one music CD. Additionally, the company has just launched BOZ's first-ever live tour, with appearances planned around the U.S. through fall.

For the fourth quarter, Exclaim is planning one of its biggest-ever brand marketing campaigns to support the launch of BOZ's new holiday-themed DVD, A Wowie BOZowee Christmas, as well as new lines of consumer products and curricular books. Marketing specifics will be announced at a later date, but include advertising and promotions on television, radio and Web sites, plus national print.

A second BOZ giveaway was held Tuesday at the David C. Cook booth with company officials handing out 10, $1,000 prizes and five VBS kits to retailers in attendance.
