Big Idea again pays homage to Indiana Jones in Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah’s Umbrella (8-20413-11409-1, $14.99), which goes on sale in Christian retail stores Aug.1, three days ahead of the general market. Inspired by the biblical story of Noah’s ark, the DVD is the sequel to VeggieTales: Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Samson’s Hairbrush, released in 2005 and following the museum curator and part-time detective played by Larry the Cucumber. This time Larry sets out to find Noah’s ark, but his mission is complicated when he learns of Noah’s mysterious umbrella, also sought by a clever villain. Subtitled “A Lesson in Confidence,” the 50-minute adventure teaches the importance of doing the right thing. “VeggieTales fans love Minnesota Cuke, and we are excited to bring him back for an all-new adventure,” said Greg Fritz, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Big Idea. As part of the marketing campaign for the new release, Chuck E. Cheese restaurants will show the “Sippy Cup” Silly Song from the DVD in more than 500 locations nationwide in August. Additionally, the DVD will be spotlighted in more than 1,000 quick-service restaurants nationwide, including McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Arby’s. Bonus features include an art gallery and a discussion guide. To order, visit www.worddistribution.com, or call 800-876-9673. |
