Helping Christians deal with life’s challenges is the theme of Brian Zahnd’s new book, Qué hacer en el peor día de su vida (What to Do on the Worst Day of Your Life, 978-1-599-79560-7, $8.99). Casa Creación, under Strang Grupo Hispano, released the book March 10, a week after Strang Book Group’s Christian Life imprint launched the English version. “Pastor Brian Zahnd goes right to the point, providing direct and powerful words of encouragement from God’s Word,” said Casa Creación officials. “He looks into the life of David to discover a pattern of faith we can apply to overcome life’s obstacles.” The book is timely, releasing amid an economic downturn when “people are losing jobs, losing their homes, even losing their faith. In these times that we are living, this topic applies to everyone,” said Sonia Trujillo, Casa Creación’s marketing and circulation manager. “Pastor Zahnd uses David’s story in a superb way to build hope and encouragement in the heart of every Spanish-speaking reader,” she added. Jentezen Franklin, New York Times best-selling author of El ayuno (Fasting), wrote the book’s foreword. “My wife and I have read and re-read every word in this book,” Franklin said. “It was like God’s voice to us in one of the toughest seasons in our lives. Don’t stop because it’s dark. Read this book, and follow the proven steps of a man who lost everything but lived to recover it all.” Zahnd and his wife, Peri, founded the 2,000-member Word of Life Church in Saint Joseph, Mo. As senior pastor, he has a vision for “revival, souls and victory.” For more information, click here. To order, call 800-283-8494, fax 800-283-4561 or send e-mail. |
