Titles for 2014 from the relatively young Zondervan Gift division feature classics and major new releases.

“The line of books releasing in 2014 tell the story—with classics like Footprints and Streams in the Desert being released with modern, on–trend covers and interiors,” said Rebecca Warren, senior editor of Zondervan Gift who formerly worked with Penguin Books UK. “Major releases include the highly anticipated Praying Circles Around the Lives of Your Children by Mark Batterson and Oh, the Things You’ll Need, an ideal gift for the graduate.”

In June, HarperCollins Christian Publishing (HCCP), the parent company of Zondervan and Thomas Nelson, formed the new division to focus on inspirational gift books, devotionals and journals.

“The vision for Zondervan Gift Books is simple: a fresh take on traditional gift books and Christian content, packaged and presented with contemporary styling that appeals to a wide audience, from seekers to people looking to enrich their faith journey,” Warren said.
