Hachette Nashville has hired Patsy Jones as vice president of marketing. Jones will begin her new position Feb. 24. “As a seasoned retail marketing professional, Patsy brings keen insight and experience from two significant retailers that understand our core markets,” said Rolf Zettersten, senior vice president and publisher for Hachette Nashville. Jones recently served for five years as vice president of sales and marketing for books at Anderson Merchandisers, the primary wholesale supplier to 2,800 Walmart and 595 Sam’s Club locations. For 15 years prior, she served in various marketing and buyer roles at Books-A-Million, which has 200 stores in the Southeast and Midwest. Her most recent position there was senior vice president of merchandising and sales. Throughout her career, Jones has worked closely with publishers to develop promotional plans, identify growth categories and implement marketing and merchandising campaigns. In her new position, she will be based in the company’s Nashville office and provide leadership for the advertising, marketing and publicity efforts for the FaithWords, Center Street and Jericho Books imprints. |
