HarperCollins Christian Publishing (HCCP) announced Tuesday the company has hired Paul Fisher as the senior marketing director for its fiction publishing group. Fisher will work under the direction of Daisy Hutton, vice president and publisher for fiction. In his new role, Fisher will be setting and leading the strategic marketing focus for both Thomas Nelson and Zondervan fiction publishing programs. He will be responsible for building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships as well as leading the fiction’s marketing enterprise. Fisher comes to the company from the consumer goods industry, working in various marketing roles for major brands such as Nestle USA and ConAgra Foods. Most recently, Fisher served in a senior marketing role at Thiel Audio and Catapult Marketing in Nashville. “We are very much looking forward to the impact that Paul’s broad business and marketing expertise will have on the HCCP fiction program,” Hutton said. “We are confident that his experience will benefit our authors and their platforms as we continue to find creative ways to navigate one of the most unique and challenging areas of Christian publishing.” Fisher has fully transitioned into his new position and will be based in HCCP's corporate offices in Nashville. |
