I AM is being released tomorrow, Nov. 2, on DVD by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and distributed to Christian stores by Word Distribution.

Billed as a "Christian version of the movie Crash," the film is a modern telling of the Ten Commandments. Set in Los Angeles, the film follows the lives of 10 strangers whose paths intersect and collapse through a plot that follows the Ten Commandments.

"I AM represents filmmaking as a movement with the intention of engaging the audience, and igniting discussion, which explores our values and purpose as human beings," said co-producer John Ward, who also appears in the movie and attends Mariners Church in Irvine, Calif.

I AM is the first feature film to be released by a studio to churches before its DVD release, as it was screened at more than 2,000 congregations nationwide.

I AM retails for $22.98. Click here for more information on the film.
