Bible Games Company celebrates 50 years Bible Games Co.-a Fredericktown, Ohio, company dedicated to sharing Scripture through fun learning-marks its 50th anniversary in 2009. Ron and JoAnn Vozar have owned the company since 1987. For its first two decades, Bible Games Co. had only eight products, with the six levels of Bible Quiz Cards and 66 Club Diplomas still core items today. The company also provides alternatives to general market best-selling games: Amen (similar to Uno), Bibleopoly (Monopoly), Missionary Conquest (Risk), Bible Land (Candy Land) and Mystery Museum (Clue).
In the mid-90s, Bible Games Co. spearheaded the introduction of a POGS game called Bible CAPS , which sold 10 million in two years. The company partnered with Franklin Graham's Operation Christmas Child in sending tens of thousands of Bible CAPS to underprivileged children via the shoe box ministry. The company expanded with HARK! Entertainment as its audio and video arm in 1997. Through HARK!, retailers can order hard-to-find titles, classic kids' music like Bullfrogs & Butterflies and Music Machine, and other items from small production companies. Bible Games Co. serves the Christian market through a number of distribution partners, including Bridgestone, David C. Cook, Standard Publishing, Review and Herald Publishing, Tyndale House Publishers and Vision Video.
