Kerusso lends a hand to Haiti Kerusso recently gathered four pallets of its products to be sent to Haiti to benefit those affected by the Jan. 12 earthquake. Estimate at nearly $28,000 wholesale, the items are being sent through Operation Compassion, a ministry of Church of God (Cleveland, Tenn.) that Kerusso connected with through Victory Church of Northwest Arkansas. Company President and CEO Vic Kennett gathered team members to pray for the safe shipment of the Kerusso items-2,800 T-shirts, 800 pairs of flip-flops, 150 "God's Girlz" dolls and 100 "Praise Ponies." "As soon as I saw the magnitude of the suffering, I knew we had to respond," Kennett said. "Thousands of people have lost everything they own. The T-shirts and flip-flops we're sending will serve a very functional role, but they will also provide truth and comfort. I pray that the people we touch through these gifts will know that God loves them and so do we." |
