Zondervan has named Arthur "Chip" Brown senior vice president and publisher of Bibles. Brown most recently served as senior vice president of marketing for Atlanta-based Walk Thru the Bible ministries. Moe Girkins, Zondervan's president and CEO, said Bibles were the "foundation" of the company and the selection for the position was "critical" for the company's future. "Chip has a rich and diverse background of management, marketing, technology and multimedia entertainment experience for entrepreneurial, nonprofit and Fortune 500 companies," she said. "This experience, coupled with his heart for ministry, makes him ideally suited to fill this critical role. We are blessed he has decided to join our team and invest his talents and skill set to help achieve our vision to engage more people in the Bible." In addition to his time at Walk Thru the Bible, Brown also worked for Disney Theatrical Productions---providing management and marketing for national and Broadway tours of Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King and King David. |
