Tyndale House Publishers has signed speaker and author Beth Moore to a book deal, which will be released in spring 2010. "Her love for the Word of God and her ability to make biblical material relevant to the everyday lives of ordinary women are qualities that permeate her writing, as well as her speaking ministry, and it is a privilege to publish her book," said Rebekah Nesbitt, associate publisher of non-fiction books for Tyndale House. In her yet to be titled book, Moore tackles the topic of women's struggles with insecurity. "Our gender has arguably battled insecurity since Eve ripped the first leaf from a tree in the garden, but our culture has turned a wound into a gorge," Moore said. "We desperately need a new way to look at ourselves, and my hope in this book is that we will find authentic help and discover that our strength is in our God-given, unshakable security." Moore is the author of numerous books and Bible studies, including Get Out of That Pit (Thomas Nelson), Believing God Day-By-Day by Beth Moore (B&H Publishing Group) and Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent (LifeWay Christian Resources). |
