More than 100 Christian authors and hundreds of attendees are expected to attend the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) conference, which starts today and runs through Sunday, Sept. 20 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center in Denver. The annual event, for established and up-and-coming authors, will feature a keynote speech from Debbie Macomber and a variety of workshops taught by authors Jim and Tracie Peterson, Margaret Daley, Rachel Hauck, Susan May Warren, Allen Arnold, Karen Ball and Rene Gutteridge. Workshops today include "Writing the Breakout Novel," which will be led by Donald Maas. A book signing will be held Saturday, Sept. 19. With more than 1,800 members, the ACFW uses the conference for educational and networking purposes. Click here for more information on the American Christian Fiction Writers conference. |
