BMI to honor 'Trailblazers of Gospel' |

Broadcast Music Inc.(BMI) will honor Donnie McClurkin and Andraé Crouch during its 11th annual Trailblazers of Gospel Music Awards Luncheon. The invitation-only event is to be held Jan. 15 in Nashville, the day before the 25th Annual Stellar Awards. A two-time GRAMMY winner, McClurkin, who garnered a 2010 Stellar Award nomination for Traditional Male of the Year, will co-host the Stellar Awards ceremony. An eight-time GRAMMY winner, Crouch is a member of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and in 2004 became the only living gospel artist to earn a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. BMI is a performing rights organization, which represents more than 400,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers in all genres of music and more than 6.5 million compositions. |
