Best-selling artist and GRAMMY winner TobyMac has signed with Bethany House Publishers, a division of Baker Publishing Group, to release a new book later this year.

City On Our Knees, also a song title on TobyMac's newly released Tonight (Forefront Records/EMI CMG Distribution), will be published in September. Bethany House has ordered a first printing of 200,000, and the title will be backed by a $200,000 marketing budget, including radio promotion and social media.

TobyMac's previous books with former dcTalk members Michael Tait and Kevin Max include Jesus Freaks, co-authored with The Voice of the Martyrs, and Jesus Freaks: Revolutionaries (both Albury Publishers).

"We are very excited to partner with TobyMac on his newest book," said Jim Parrish, executive vice president and director of Bethany House. "After the amazing success of Jesus Freaks, which sold over a million and a half copies and inspired a generation to view their faith in a radical new way, we look forward to bringing his new message of faith in action to the huge numbers of people of all ages and backgrounds listening to TobyMac."

TobyMac said the idea behind the song "City On Our Knees" was "a movement--a moment that we all come together and our differences fall by the wayside. Love fills in the cracks, and we turn our attention to what unites us."
