Regal Books plans an early release for a book about coaching legend John Wooden, who died of natural causes June 4 at age 99.

Originally scheduled for the fall, The Greatest Coach Ever: Timeless Wisdom and Insights of John Wooden will be published next month.

An imprint of Gospel Light, Regal Books published several books by Wooden--a committed Christian--including Coach Wooden One-on-One, Coach Wooden's Pyramid of Success and Coach Wooden's Pyramid of Success Playbook.

Written with members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Greatest Coach Ever is a collection of 52 tributes from coaches, athletes and friends-including Tony Dungy, Tom Osborne, David Robinson and Bobby Bowden--influenced by Wooden's "Pyramid of Success," a philosophy he developed for winning on and off the court.

Demand for Coach Wooden's Pyramid of Success has skyrocketed since Wooden's death, prompting Gospel Light to print 100,000 more copies, company officials said. Coach Wooden One-on-One has more than 100,000 copies in print.
