CBA has announced a marketing agreement with On Demand Books to promote the company's Espresso Book Machine (EBM), which offers Christian publishers and retailers the use of print-on-demand (POD) technology. The EBM will be showcased in the Town Center area of the International Christian Retail Show, to be held July 10-13 in Atlanta.

In-store POD gives retailers additional opportunities to serve church pastors and leaders, authors and readers with "a technology that brings customers to the store," said CBA Executive Director Curtis Riskey. "Stores will always be important as a local center for community, connection and innovative services."

CBA's marketing agreement with On Demand Books comes on the heels of Anchor Distributors and Bethany Press recently joining forces to launch a POD service. Earlier this year, STL Distribution North America also unveiled its POD service run with technology provider Snowfall Press and printer Dickinson Press.
