Several Christian authors have been nominated for the 2013 Romance Writers of America's RITA Awards. Finalists in the Inspirational Romance category are Against the Tide by Elizabeth Camden and My Stubborn Heart by Becky Wade (both Bethany House/Baker Publishing Group); Betrayal by Robin Lee Hatcher (Zondervan); An Heiress at Heart by Jennifer Delamere (Grand Central Publishing/Hachette Book Group); A House Full of Hope by Missy Tippens and The Soldier's Wife by Cheryl Reavis (both Love Inspired/Harlequin); Naomi's Christmas by Marta Perry (Berkley/Penguin Group USA); and The Wedding Dress by Rachel Hauck (Thomas Nelson). The Welcome Committee of Butternut Creek by Jane Myers Perrine (FaithWords) is a finalist in the Novel with Strong Romantic Elements category. Winners for the 2013 RITA Awards will be announced July 20 during the Romance Writers of America's 33rd annual conference in Atlanta. Regarded as the highest award of excellence in the genre of romance fiction, the RITA Award is named after the association's first president, Rita Clay Estrada.
