White Heart, a contemporary Christian pop-rock band that formed in 1982, has announced plans for a reunion tour in the fall. "Coming this October, Rick Florian, Gordon Kennedy, Mark Gersmehl, Billy Smiley, Jon Knox and Anthony Sallee [will perform] in a special limited White Heart Reunion Tour," the band posted on Facebook recently. "Details [are] coming soon, so tell your friends to 'like' our page to get the updates. And you won't believe who is going to be touring with us. This is going to be exciting!" White Heart released 13 albums—the most recent of which was in 1997. Smiley and Gersmehl, the original members, have worked with a continually changing cast of bandmates. In 1985, Florian became the lead singer. White Heart was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2010. |
