Four-time GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Matthew West’s hit single “Hello, My Name Is” has broken the record for the most weeks at No. 1, achieving the top spot for 16 weeks in a row on the National Christian Audience chart. The song also continues its 14-week run at No. 1 on the AC Monitored chart. “I am absolutely blown away by this run that ‘Hello’ has had,” said West. “Many thanks to all the radio stations across the country for letting the song and its message reach the hearts of listeners.” “It’s been a tremendous honor to partner with Christian Radio on this song and to see the impact it’s had on listeners,” said Grant Hubbard, vice president of national promotion for Capitol CMG Label Group. “Matthew again has delivered a song that encourages and inspires people to live out their faith.” “Hello, My Name Is” is West’s second No. 1 single from his GRAMMY-nominated album Into The Light, which was released in October 2012. The deluxe edition, Into The Light: Life Stories & Live Songs, was released this past August and includes a DVD featuring live concert footage and interviews with people whose stories have inspired the songs. |
