“We are thrilled to be Kirk’s partner,” said Tom Corson, president and chief operating officer for RCA Records. “He is a one-of-a-kind artist and music executive who brings his unique insight to inspirational music. We look forward to welcoming the talent he will bring to the roster.” Early albums slated for release with Fo Yo Soul include the sophomore album from The Walls Group and the debut album from Tasha Page Lockhart, both of whom have enjoyed success on the BET Gospel Music competition show Sunday Best. “I’ve been blessed to be with RCA Records as an
artist, so I know that the team is among the most creative and hardworking in
the music business,” said the award-winning, multi-Platinum-selling Franklin.
“Expanding our business relationship in a way that empowers my team to identify
and develop great new artists is really a dream come true for me. I am very
excited to be able to introduce the world to some amazing new talents in the
coming months.” |
