MaxLucadoYoullGetThroughThisMax Lucado’s latest book, You’ll Get Through This: Hope and Help for Your Turbulent Times, will debut at No. 10 on the New York Times Advice, How-to and Miscellaneous list Sept. 22, reports publisher Thomas Nelson.

You’ll Get Through This is a message for the times,” said David Moberg, senior vice president and group publisher of books for HarperCollins Christian Publishing. “This is a season when people need hope, and no one is better suited to bring that message in a creative and dynamic way than Max.”

Thomas Nelson launched the book with a multi-city tour including stops in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Nashville and Dallas. Lucado was also interviewed on multiple national media outlets, including Fox News, The 700 Club and KLOVE Radio Network. The book released Sept. 10.

Launch week was highlighted with a special event in New York City sponsored by The Salvation Army on Sept. 11. Promoted as a “night of remembrance and hope,” the event was attended by hundreds of people directly affected by three tragic events: the 9/11 attacks, the Sandy Hook shooting and Hurricane Sandy. Lucado’s encouraging message to these survivors was drawn from the Old Testament story of Joseph and from You’ll Get Through This.

You’ll Get Through This is only the most recent of his books to hit the New York Times best-seller lists.  Lucado’s previous books Traveling Light, It’s Not About Me, 3:16—The Numbers of Hope and Fearless have also hit the list.
