New Leaf Publishing Group has signed Lily Isaacs, matriarch of the GMA Dove Award-winning bluegrass gospel group The Isaacs, to a publishing contract. Her autobiography, You Don’t Cry Out Loud (New Leaf Press), will be available in May 2014 and offers a deeply personal look at her life, including growing up in a Jewish family, surviving breast cancer and her difficult divorce.

A daughter of Holocaust survivors, Isaacs is co-founder and member of The Isaacs. Her 35-year career includes performances at the Grand Ole Opry and Gaither Homecoming concerts.

Best-selling author and speaker Andy Andrews is expected to write the book’s foreword.
