Christmas-1Eighty-webAtlanta-based Pipeline Social Media Solutions has formed a partnership with 1Eighty Apparel Group to raise awareness and funding for nonprofit organizations through a “products with a purpose” campaign, the (CHRIST)MAS 180 Project. Running from early October through the end of the year, the project (christmas180project.com) will funnel a portion of the proceeds to help those in need this Christmas season.

“Our mission this Christmas is simple—wear, share, give,” said Trey Sheneman, Pipeline co-founder. “The product line we are promoting has a tangible focus on Jesus Christ and His impact on the Christmas season. So, we are challenging Christians to wear these products and share Christ everywhere they go. By doing so, not only will we be able to give much-needed funding to some great organizations, but also give people a reminder about what Christmas is truly about.”

Scripture-inspired products by 1Eighty are often worn by Christian artists such as Newsboys, Third Day and Jeremy Camp. But the campaign centered on Christmas has a special focus.

“Our focus is on getting people to talk about Christ at Christmas again and to not be ashamed while doing so,” said Sumner, owner of the Southern California-based apparel company. “Wearing a T-Shirt or a hat that sparks a conversation is an easy way for Christians to love on someone else this Christmas season. It will help them make a 180 in their thinking, as they focus on others during the holidays and not only themselves.”

Those involved in the partnership hope to raise enough money to bless several nonprofits, including Food for the Hungry.

“Our give-back this year is not only to share Christ and the hope that He brings, but also to raise awareness and funding for these great nonprofits,” said Tim Cannady, the marketing consultant who brought Pipeline and 1Eighty Apparel together. “Our products have a purpose, and we hope to challenge Christians around the world to get involved.”
