Inspirational-romance publisher Redbud Press has announced the upcoming launch of its debut titles in March 2015. After its launch month, Redbud will release one frontlist title per month. Out of the Deep by Cheryl Wyatt is the first of a three-book series titled Haven Bay Heroes, which features Coast Guard heroes in each installment and deals with issues of forgiveness and grief. Debut author Susan Crawford’s Saving Justice explores issues of poverty and social expectations with a schoolteacher heroine who follows her calling, and Secondhand Cowboy by Lacy Williams explores issues of redemption and coming home again. With its digital-first business model, Redbud Press offers readers a chance to find more books from Christian authors at a reasonable price. The publisher’s stable of authors includes multipublished, award-winning and USA Today best-selling authors, as well as debut authors. Among the authors are Ruth Axtell, Rene Gutteridge and Cheryl McKay (co-authors), Gayle Roper, Camy Tang, Janet Tronstad and Kathleen Y’Barbo. Redbud Press readers can expect a clean book with no sex or profanity. Authors also strive to show the reader God’s love through their works. Readers can get a taste of what Redbud Press will be offering its readers by downloading two free novellas from authors Wyatt and Williams. To access the novellas, go to redbudpress.com. Although Redbud is exploring print options for future releases, frontlist titles are now available through e-book and print-on-demand only. Print-on-demand titles are available to retailers through the IngramSpark program. |
