Entertainment One Music (eOne Music) has taken four NAACP Image Award nominations in two categories for gospel releases from Erica Campbell, Michelle Williams, and the group 3 Winans Brothers (comprising Marvin, Carvin and BeBe Winans). The just-released nominations for the 2015 NAACP Image Awards honor Campbell with two nominations in the Outstanding New Artist and Outstanding Gospel Album (Traditional or Contemporary) categories for Help; Michelle Williams in Outstanding Gospel Album (Traditional or Contemporary) for Journey to Freedom; and 3 Winans Brothers in Outstanding New Artist. Developing a new creative path with a solo album, Campbell released Help as her debut solo gospel album to critical and chart-topping acclaim, receiving numerous accolades for songs “A Little More Jesus” and “Help” (featuring Lecrae), as well as the album. Williams’ Journey to Freedom, her fourth solo album, features the chart-topper “Say Yes” (featuring Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland), “Fire,” “In the Morning” and more. The 3 Winans Brothers debuted their first album together, Foreign Land, which was released on their label, Regimen Records, in partnership with BMG Rights, with distribution by eOne Music Label Services, and features such hits as “If God Be For Us” and the single “Move in Me.” The 46th annual NAACP Image Awards will be announced Friday, Feb. 6, airing live on TV One. |
