Disciplr, a new digital platform for teachers in the local church, is about to be made available to churches at Disciplr.com. Disciplr has begun granting early access to the platform for churches on its waiting list, and will be open to everyone later this summer. The platform was designed to meet a growing need felt by teachers in the church, providing a place to find and choose curriculum, subscribe and use it in a digitally interactive format. Disciplr also features bulit-in teacher management tools to aid in assigning lessons—a response to the frustrations of dealing with multiple email attachments. "Today, curriculum is media-rich, and managing teachers and volunteers isn't getting any easier," said Michael Covington, Disciplr business team lead. More than 3,300 people have joined the waiting list to get early access to Disciplr, and more can still join for pre-July access. Disciplr will launch with four lines of Sunday school curriculum—one of which will be completely free. More features are on their way, such as robust media presentation capabilities, slated to launch later this year. |
