The Munce Group announced last week the development of a print More to Life (MTL) Magazine. Munce Group launched the MTL brand approximately 10 years ago with a simple goal: to increase the awareness of Christian products and where they can be purchased. To enhance brand recognition and business growth, Munce segregated all MTL assets under the trade name More to Life earlier this year. As the online presence of MTL continues to grow—with an average of over 300,000 visitors per month, 125,000 likes on Facebook, 100,000 followers on Twitter, 14,000 followers on Instagram and thousands of pins on Pinterest—MTL is making plans to unveil the new print magazine next month. Kirk Blank, Munce Group president and publisher of MTL, felt this was a logical development for the brand. “We believe the next logical step to accomplish the goal of MTL is to reintroduce a print magazine for our member retailers to hand out to their best customers and to potential customers,” said Blank. The first print issue of MTL Magazine will feature a cover story with Bible study teacher, author and War Room actress Priscilla Shirer. Each Munce Group member will receive copies of the inaugural issue to distribute to a variety of local influencers, including pastors, women’s ministry group leaders, in-store customers, book club participants and author events attendees. A digital copy of the magazine will be emailed to thousands of MTL subscribers and posted on MTL social media sites. The magazine will also be available on the social media sites of Munce member retailers and a large community of authors. MTL Magazine is designed to bring women “more to life.” Each issue will address the felt needs of women and connect that to product available at their local Christian bookstore. Cynthia Ruchti, award-winning author and women’s event speaker, explained the importance of MTL. “At a time when we're bombarded with time-wasting, soul-fraying images and information that makes us cringe and shudder, MTL Magazine steps onto the scene to offer refreshment, hope and practical tips for living abundantly,” Ruchti said. “Every article is relevant, encouraging, meaningful, thought-provoking or all of the above. What a great tool for ministry as well as personal enjoyment!” There will be five print issues a year: Fall (August/September/October), Christmas (November/December), Winter (January/February), Spring (March/April) and Summer (May/June/July). |
