TobyMac’s latest album, This Is Not a Test (Capitol Christian Music Group/Capital Christian Distribution), debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart this week. The album also reached No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 and No. 3 on the Digital Albums chart.

The high placement comes after a busy street week for the artist, who garnered coverage from such media outlets as ESPN Online, HLN’s Weekend Express, ABC Radio and FOX News. Strong sales for the album were also bolstered by positive reviews from the media.

TobyMac will take to the FOX & Friends outdoor concert stage this Wednesday, Aug. 19. The performance is open to the public and will air live on the cable news morning show.

TobyMac also plans to headline a tour this fall, visiting 36 markets with Colton Dixon, Britt Nicole and new artist Hollyn.
