John Bevere’s Good or God? Why Good Without God Isn’t Enough (Messenger International) debuted at No. 1 on Amazon’s Christian Ministry & Church Leadership list. The book released Aug. 11.

Good or God? challenges the beliefs that Christianity is merely a set of rules to be adhered to and that “good” behavior is the ultimate standard for pleasing God.

Bevere hopes his book will empower readers to engage with God on a level that will change every aspect of their lives.

In conjunction with the book’s release, Messenger International has partnered with YouVersion to offer a free, 10-day ‪#‎GoodOrGod reading plan through the Bible app. Messenger also recently launched a social media campaign (#GoodOrGod), calling people to embrace a better way of life.
