Barbour Publishing has appointed Teal Press as the Ohio-based company's primary trade distributor for product in the U.K., effective this month.

Teal Press is an award-winning Christian publisher and distributor, and the partnership represents two organizations committed to growing the Christian retail market in the United Kingdom.

“Teal Press has a sales team that is familiar with Barbour’s book and gift products and is eager to begin," said Nola Haney, Barbour's international sales manager. "We are saddened by the JTD closure and were very happy with their performance in the market, but we are confident we have found another good fit for our line and are eager to move forward and develop a strong partnership with Teal Press.”

Teal Press Managing Director Alan Sayers is "delighted" with this new opportunity.

“Barbour is a catalogue with a great pedigree and a key line for many of our retail store partners, and we look forward to continuing its progress here in the U.K.,” Sayers said.
