B&H Kids, the children’s product division of B&H Publishing Group, said Friday it is enjoying a season of unmatched accomplishments, including sales growth, increased presence on national best-seller lists and the expansion of the division's marketing and editorial team. Since 2014, B&H Kids has experienced more than 50 percent growth in revenue. Dan Lynch, publisher for B&H Kids, commented on the accomplishment. “This fall has been an outstanding season for B&H Kids,” Lynch said. “We are seeing unprecedented growth in our product line, marketing efforts and sales for our children’s line. This strategic growth enables us to reach our ultimate goal: To help kids develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus and to empower parents to guide them in their spiritual growth.” In addition to sales growth, this fall brought the launch of Sheila Walsh’s “The Bible Is My Best Friend” product line. Three titles were released in October: Meet My Best Friend, The Bible Is My Best Friend Family Devotional and The Bible Is My Best Friend Flipbook. B&H Kids also released three new licensed books in conjunction with the release of the film War Room. Each of these books—Peter’s Perfect Prayer Place, PrayerWorks and This Means War—became instant CBA and Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) best-sellers. The B&H Kids team has expanded from one person in 2013 to a team of four—including Lynch, Marketing Strategist Rachel Shaver and Acquisitions Editor Michelle Burke. The most recent B&H Kids team member is Jamie George, serving as marketing specialist. George has worked for B&H since 2013 as marketing coordinator serving all teams and has been promoted this fall to marketing specialist focusing solely on B&H Kids. George said she was enthusiastic about being a part of the B&H Kids team. “Marketing children’s products is a dream job,” George said. “Creating books, Bibles and products that can impact generations to come is a privilege. I am thankful for the chance to work with outstanding authors, sales channels and marketers.” B&H Kids also has started new ventures in marketing with a weekly reading on Periscope. The company also hosts launch parties via social media so that authors and their audiences are able to engage well and understand the heart behind each project. |
