Carpentree announced Friday the purchase of The Faith Collection, a Norman, Oklahoma-based supplier of inspirational and general gifts and décor. Carpentree’s owners say they welcome a new chapter in the 40-year history of the family-owned and operated company. For more than 15 years, The Faith Collection has designed, produced and supplied original decorative crosses, photo frames and wall décor to leading general gift and décor stores across the country. The company offers both imported and American-made items. Jordan Hobson, vice president of sales and marketing, said the combined companies will operate under their respective brand names and will become part of Carpentree’s gift and décor offerings. “Both Carpentree’s well-messaged products and The Faith Collection’s distinctive lines will open up new sales and merchandising possibilities for stores seeking a fresh approach to inspiration,” Hobson said. “Stores will have a one stop inspirational shopping option since each company offers a wide range of price points and a broad product portfolio. At the January markets, we plan to make the buying experience a celebration of retail energy for all customers!” Hobson added, “Nothing is immediately changing in regards to how customers shop each respective brand and/or submit orders. The exciting part is that both Carpentree and The Faith Collection will be available to each company’s customer base.” IntegriTeam Sales will represent both The Faith Collection and Carpentree to the Christian store market. As a partnering rep group, IntegriTeam currently services Christian gift stores for Carpentree. Tom Probst of IntegriTeam commented on Carpentree’s acquisition. “We have always appreciated the Carpentree line and what it stands for,” Probst said. “You can always count on quality products bearing meaningful Scriptures that impact lives. Faith Collection will fill an important element in the retailer’s gift selection. This collection, without a doubt, will delight the consumer and strengthen their faith. At the same time, it will enhance the sales of retailers while incorporating the high standards for which Carpentree is best known. “ Hobson said he believes this acquisition is a perfect fit for Carpentree: “Our company is a kindred spirit, since we also offer consumers a blended model approach that keeps Americans working while offering price points affordable to all.” Carpentree’s existing and newly acquired line will now have permanent homes together in the Dallas Market Center and America’s Mart in Atlanta. Both companies will also be present at the 2016 International Christian Retail Show at Booth #514. “As a picture-perfect marriage of inspirational design, Carpentree and The Faith Collection form a union that creates something extra special for retailers and their customers,” Hobson said. “Our goal for both companies will continue to be to design, merchandise and sell products that will keep store customers coming back for more.” |
