DaySpring has entered into a new licensing agreement with Bella Blvd and Illustrated Faith. The agreement will result in new Illustrated Faith product lines by DaySpring in addition to co-branded products with Bella Blvd. Combining Bible journaling ideas from Illustrated Faith's Shanna Noel with scrapbooking supplies by Bella Blvd, DaySpring will feature a variety of products to aid the consumer in what has become a popular devotional tool, Bible journaling. DaySpring’s Illustrated Faith line will also include a customized journaling Bible and curriculum for use in workshops, small groups and Bible studies. James Barnett, president of DaySpring, explained why the company partnered with Illustrated Faith. “Illustrated Faith has a huge presence in the Bible journaling marketplace, and DaySpring is always on the lookout for fresh ideas to help people live their faith,” Barnett said. “Journals have been a DaySpring specialty for years, and Bible artistic journaling is a natural extension of our product line.” Stephanie Smokovich, president of Bella Blvd, commented on the deal. “While Bella Blvd has the resources to distribute Illustrated Faith within the secular craft and hobby market, DaySpring will help us share this new form of worship to a community of believers that Bella Blvd is just entering,” Smokovich said. “DaySpring, Illustrated Faith and Bella Blvd represent creative ingenuity, the love for color and quality, and passion for Christ. As the Bible journaling community grows, our partnership will allow us to grow with it, providing the most current products to inspire and tools to ease the process.” For Noel, the new partnership is the fulfillment of a dream. “It’s long been a dream of mine to bring faith-based products to the market that would work perfectly in the margins in your Bible,” Noel said. “I am excited to see these dreams become a reality with the partnership with Bella Blvd and DaySpring.” “Daily Bible study does not come naturally to visual learners,” Smokovich said. “Illustrating their faith within the margins of a Bible, a prayer journal or hymnal is the perfect way to connect with God and intensify your personal journey with Him. The value is not in the products but in the message; the products are simply tools to get someone involved in the pages of Scripture.” Carla Whisenand, senior product manager for the DaySpring line, commented on the recent popularity of Bible journaling. “Bible journaling has become a tremendously popular new way to go deeper in Scripture,” Whisenand said. “How someone does that is entirely up to them. You can write, draw or paint your thoughts and reflections in your Bible or journal. Our products will also help with stickers, printed papers and beautiful cardstock with faith-filled messages. Whatever method the consumer prefers for Bible or art journaling, the goal is still the same—connecting with God’s Word in a fresh, new way. By utilizing the Illustrated Faith line, we hope to see consumers increasing their desire to memorize Scripture and go deeper in their study of the Bible.” Illustrated Faith-branded products will be available in all DaySpring channels in early 2016. |
