Anchor, Bridgestone announce distribution agreement |

Anchor Distributors, a division of Whitaker Corporation, and Bridgestone Multimedia Group have finalized a licensing agreement, effective Jan. 1. Under the agreement, Anchor has exclusive licensing rights to produce, market and distribute Bridgestone films and teaching videos to Christian market retailers. Anchor has been in the distribution business since 1970 and will leverage its experience and logistics efficiencies to benefit Bridgestone, which has been producing high-quality Christian films for over 25 years. John Whitaker, vice president of Whitaker Corp. and head of Anchor Distributors, said he was pleased with the new agreement. “We have been distributing Bridgestone’s excellent products for years and are thrilled to take the relationship to this new level,” Whitaker said. “It makes sense to work together in an increased capacity. I expect this partnership will enable the team at Bridgestone to focus their talents on continued development of quality, family-friendly, faith-based films.” David Austin, executive vice president of Bridgestone, concurred. “We have enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Anchor Distributors, and now we’re elated to take that partnership to a deeper level,” Austin said. “Together we will continue to deliver to our customers the unequaled service and outstanding value that BMG has been known for in the Christian retail products industry.” |
