DesignWorks Group wins 16 ADDY Awards Print Email

Sisters, Ore.-based The DesignWorks Group Inc., a graphic-design studio specializing in book covers and book-interior design, received 16 local ADDY Awards, nine for Christian-market book projects.

The ADDYs are the advertising industry's largest competition. Local ADDY-Award winners are forwarded to the District level and if they win there, on to the National ADDY Awards competition.

DesignWorks received four gold ADDYs, including two awards for best of category, for: The Ragamuffin Gospel (Brennan Manning, Multnomah Publishers), The Widow of the South (Robert Hicks, Warner Books), Homesick (Bart Millard, Integrity Publishers) and QI (David Aikman, Broadman & Holman).

Silver ADDYs were awarded for the design of Showdown (Ted Dekker, WestBow), Comes a Horseman (Robert Liparulo, WestBow), Cashing It In (Ethan Pope, Moody), as well as two general-market Hallmark books. Bronze ADDYs were awarded for the titles: Setting Down Roots (Eddie Hilburn, NavPress), Chateau of Echoes (Siri L. Mitchell, NavPress), Into the Wardrobe: C.S. Lewis and the Narnia Chronicles (David C. Downing, Jossey-Bass) and The Enemy Inside Your Mind (Bishop Paul Morton Sr., Legacy Publishers International).
