The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced the finalists for the 2006 GMA/Christian Music Broadcasters (CMB) Radio Station of the Year contest.

The radio station awards are designed to publicly acknowledge those Christian radio stations that meet the highest standards of quality and have the strongest impact on their listening areas. Awards are given to major, large, medium and small market stations.

Major Market:
KLTY-Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas-John Peroyea, station manager
KSBJ-Houston-Tim McDermott, station manager
WFSH-Atlanta-Allen Power, station manager

Large Market
KXOJ-Tulsa, Okla.-David Stephens, station manager
WPOZ-Orlando, Fla.-Jim Hoge, station manager
WRCM-Charlotte, N.C.-Gastonia-Rock Hill, N.C.-Joe Paulo, station manager

Medium Market
KBIQ-Colorado Springs, Colo.-Brian Taylor, station manager
KTSY-Boise, Idaho-Michael Agee, station manager
WMHK-Columbia, S.C.-Jerry Grimes, station manager

Small Market
KJIL-Dodge City, Kan.-Michael Luskey, station manager
KLRC-Fayetteville, Ark.-Sean Sawatzky, station manager
KSWP-Lufkin-Nacogdoches, Texas-Dwyan Calvert, station manager

The winners in each market category will be determined by a panel of judges who review the following areas: community involvement, ratings, air-check and industry leadership.

The winners in each market category will be announced before the 37th annual GMA Music Awards on April 5.
