In one of the year's biggest marketing tactics, tomorrow, June 6-or 06-06-06-a slew of products both Christian and secular will release. The Omen, a remake of the 1970s horror film, will release to theaters tomorrow from 20th Century Fox, having been promoted on billboards in major cities. Conservative author Anne Coulter's new book, Godless: The Church of Liberalism (Crown Forum), is set to release tomorrow as well, as what Coulter called “her little tribute to liberals.” And Tyndale House Publishers will release the third and final prequel to its best-selling “Left Behind” series, The Rapture, by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. LaHaye and Jenkins also have partnered with a Christian bookstore to sell the “Left Behind” books' softcover versions for $6.66.
The number 666 is considered by some as the Mark of the Beast in the Book of Revelation.
